Rotary is a global network of people who believe that when we work together, we can make our communities—and our world—better.
We are neighbors, friends, business and community leaders, professionals, young leaders, and people from all walks of life united by a common desire to serve others. Through Rotary clubs in communities around the world, members build meaningful relationships while turning ideas into action.
For more than a century, Rotary has brought people together to tackle some of the world's greatest challenges. Our members don't simply talk about change—we work to create it.
From providing clean water and fighting disease to supporting education, strengthening communities, responding to disasters, and advancing peace, Rotary members contribute their time, talents, resources, and professional expertise to projects designed to create lasting impact.
And sometimes the impact happens closer to home—a food drive, a scholarship for a local student, support for a family in need, or volunteers coming together after a hurricane.
What Do Rotarians Do?
Rotary focuses its humanitarian efforts in seven key areas where we believe our collective action can make a meaningful and sustainable difference:

Rotary Begins in Your Community
Rotary may be international, but its heart is local.
Here in Rotary District 6950, our Rotary clubs bring together people throughout Citrus, Hernando, Pasco, and Pinellas counties who want to make a difference. Each club has its own personality, traditions, projects, and meeting style—but we are united by the same commitment to Service Above Self.
You don't need to have a particular profession, background, or experience to care about your community. You simply need a desire to become involved.
