Rotary has always been about relationships.
When attorney Paul Harris founded Rotary in Chicago in 1905, his vision was to bring together professionals from different backgrounds so they could exchange ideas and develop meaningful friendships. Those professional relationships were an important part of Rotary's earliest days, long before the organization grew into the worldwide humanitarian movement we know today.
Rotary Means Business brings that spirit into the 21st century.
Rotary Means Business is a Rotary Fellowship built around a simple idea: Rotarians supporting the success of fellow Rotarians by doing business with them and referring others to them.
Here in Rotary District 6950, we believe that idea has tremendous potential.
Across Citrus, Hernando, Pasco, and Pinellas counties, our Rotary family includes business owners, entrepreneurs, executives, professionals, nonprofit leaders, tradespeople, community leaders, and people representing an extraordinary range of vocations.
We want them to know one another.

In fact, Rotary Means Business describes its vision as making business an essential component of Rotary alongside service and fellowship, reflecting the professional relationships that were present at Rotary's founding. Its purpose is to strengthen fellow Rotarians and, through them, businesses, communities, clubs, and ultimately Rotary itself.
We believe successful businesses create stronger communities.
